A Florida news photographer wounded in a shooting that killed his colleague last week has spoken to the press about the incident. The photographer, Jesse Walden, was shot in the groin and his partner,  TV reporter Dylan Lyons, was killed while covering a deadly shooting in the town of Pine Hills, reports NBC. "I see that he’s shooting at me. I was assuming he was shooting at a house or something behind me, and I just happened to catch a bullet,” Walden said. “But he kept shooting at me.”   Read the full Story >>

Getty Images photographer Chris McGrath was in Ukraine at the outbreak of the war there, and  for much of the past year he has been moving between communities that have become scenes of deadly missile attacks and dark atrocities: Irpin, Bucha, Bakhmut. He posts his work on Instagram in batches that create indelible vignettes. “I have had a lot of pushback coming from Russian accounts,” he says. “Sometimes people don’t believe that the pictures are real.
