“It took 27 years for me to realize I was transgender. It took a month or two to decide to physically transition. It took even less time than that to understand that I should document my transformation—for myself and for anyone else who needs to see it.” So writes Allison Lippy at National Geographic. Lippy turned the camera on herself as she underwent her medical gender transition, shooting hundreds of self-portraits beginning in 2015. Industry News: VSCO Relaunches to Focus on Serving More 'Serious' Creatives

VSCO, which built a reputation offering photo presents and other tools, has announced that it is relaunching its platform to better focus on a core creator audience and, in its words, “return to its roots.” The relaunch includes a new leadership team and product updates designed to appeal to more serious creatives, notes PetaPixel. On March 18 1965, Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov clambered through through the outer hatch of his Voskhod-2 spacecraft, stepping into the void outside and into history as the first person to "walk" in space.
