Social News: Instagram Now Lets You Bulk-Delete Your Older Content

First, Instagram began allowing users to delete comments in bulk. Now, notes DIY Photography, the app is letting you bulk-delete photos, videos, reels and stories with just a few clicks. Instagram has added a new section to users' profile called “Your Activity.” To access it, go to your profile and tap the menu in the upper right corner. Spotlight: Beauty and Black History in Central Park

As a child, Donavon Smallwood played catch in Central Park after school let out for the summer. In winter, he and his friends went to the ice-skating rink. For 20 years, he has remained within walking distance of the park, and at the height of the pandemic, in the spring and summer of 2020, he made his way through the area, often photographing people who inspired him. There’s a problem with “those impossibly stunning images of elusive wild animals” you've seen on magazine covers, in calendars and all over social media,” writes wildlife photographer Melissa Groo at the National Wildlife Federation’s National Wildlife magazine. Industry News: Abbey Road Launches Music Photo Awards

Abbey Road Studios has announced the inaugural Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards – the first-ever awards to celebrate the art of music photography, notes the studio. “The MPAs will recognize the year’s most unforgettable, unique and unsung music moments and the varied and talented photographers who captured them,” added the studio in an announcement. The winners will be unveiled at an official MPAs ceremony in May 2022. There are four categories in which entries are being accepted and four invited-category awards.   Read the full Story >>
