Photoville returns to the Brooklyn Bridge Park this week, with more of everything you want from photography. The preview is on Thursday starting at 4 pm, followed by the opening night party at 7 with Down ‘n Dirty, celebrating music photography from over four decades curated by Janette Beckman. Info. On Friday, PhotoShelter hosts Luminance, six one-hour talks featuring some of the industry’s top experts and renowned photographers. Info

On Saturday and Sunday, Daytime Programming offers panels, talks and workshops, all free, in addition to the container exhibits and outdoor presentations. Info

Special events with The New York Times, Aperture and Daylight run through the seven days of Photoville, starting with a photo hunt with the @nytimes Instagram team. Info.
