The director David Lynch, who died on Jan, 15, is best known for perplexing and unnerving films like Eraserhead, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive, but he was also a trained painter who shot memorable TV commercials, music videos and photographs, all of which were unmistakably “Lynchian.” Early in 2024 he exhibited his images of derelict factories, made around New York, England and. Drone News: DJI Will Drop Forced "No-Fly Zones"

Even as it continues to face the possibility of a ban in the U.S., DJI has announced it is removing automatic no-fly zones from its drone software. Pilots will see warnings when entering restricted areas, but they can choose to ignore them. Previously, DJI’s drones would block flights over places like airports, government buildings, and wildfires. Now, blocked areas will appear as “Enhanced Warning Zones,” and pilots will get alerts instead of being stopped, notes DIY Photography.   Read the full Story >>

Tech News: OM System Will Head for the Outdoors in 2025

OM System will soon launch a new camera and several lenses, according to a letter by CEO Shigemi Sugimoto stared on the company’s website. The letter, notes Digital Camera World, also hints at where the company is focused for future models: gear for the outdoors. “As we look to the future of the camera business, we will provide more options for compact, lightweight, splash & dust-proof products to expand photographic horizons for our customers,” Sugimoto wrote.
