Seven missing women have been connected to a “mystery house” in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood, and investigators now believe five of those women are deceased. That conclusion, notes NBC 10 Philadelphia, comes after authorities recovered more than one million digital images and videos connected to Raymond "R.C." Horsch, who died in 2025 at age 82. Dr. Ning Xu of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, is the top winner of the 2020 Nikon Small World in Motion competition for a video showing the abnormal beating of airway cilia from a child diagnosed with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD)—a rare condition in which the tiny hair-like structures lining the airways fail to beat in the coordinated waves needed to clear mucus and debris from the lungs. Meta’s Oversight Board has ordered the company to remove two AI-generated videos from Facebook—one, notes The New Web, involving a Scottish politician who was falsely portrayed making inflammatory comments about refugees, and the second involving a young Muslim woman. The board overturned Meta’s original decisions in both cases, notes The Guardian.
