Hi David, I'd like to introduce you to a book I'm publishing soon: a large format, hardcover, offset book entitled: Building Seattle's State Route 99 SUPERTUNNEL, the Journey from light to light. I was the official photographer/videographer for the documentation of building Seattle's new underground tunnel, a megaproject that was to take 2 years ultimately was a complicated 6-year endeavor. The tunnel boring machine, Bertha, was the largest diameter TBM ever manufactured at 57.5' and eventually completed the current 2-mile tunnel below downtown Seattle, along the waterfront. At less than 100 ft into her drive, Bertha halted underground, which led to 2.5 years of unprecedented engineering, rescue and repair, and by then a worldwide spectacle. In a good twist of fate, I own the rights to all my material, so I've spent the past year making this book on all aspects the chaotic, yet precise world of underground modern tunneling. Are you interested to see this? If so, please get in touch and I'll hook you up to some visuals. Best Regards, Catherine
