DIARY: NYCxDESIGN Festival

By Peggy Roalf   Thursday May 15, 2025

The NYCxDesign festival gives space to artisans, manufacturers and students showing off their latest inventions in architecture, landscape design, interior design, product design and more. This annual, citywide celebration highlights hundreds of events - from exhibits and trade shows to talks and tours - drawing design enthusiasts from around the globe. As the city's most influential design event, the festival provides a dynamic platform for diverse voices in design.

Thursday, May 15, 10:30-2:00pm at ICP: The Festival’s keynote addresses begin tonight with Contour: A Decade of Photography for Coca-Cola® Global Design by Guy Aroch and Anna Palma. This exhibit also marks a milestone—the 110-year anniversary of the iconic Coca–Cola Contour Bottle, a design classic and one of the most famous shapes in the world. Often prominently featured in Guy Aroch and Anna Palma’s work, the bottle stands as both a muse and a global symbol of refreshment and creativity.
