Photographer and activist Linda McCartney will be honored by the United States Postal Service with a series of postage stamps featuring her nature and still-life photography, notes Rolling Stone. The collection contains 20 stamps with five individual images, including photographs of sunflowers and a teapot. A first-day-of-issue ceremony at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City is slated for Sept. 25. McCartney, who died in 1998, shot some of the biggest stars of the 1960s, including her husband, Paul McCartney. Read the full Story >>

Last week, Meta agreed to pay up to $17.1 billion to settle a three-year-old lawsuit over social media addiction. The settlement, notes The New York Times, “probably won’t sting that much for Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s chief executive.” The details of the settlement, however, could leave a mark. Meta agreed to rein in children’s access to its marquee products like Instagram and Facebook, create daily time limits, increase parental controls and cut off access during school hours. Since fleeing crisis-stricken Venezuela, Silvana Trevale has regularly returned to photograph the country's youth with a medium-format camera – capturing the carefree moments of boys and girls who, despite a lack of prospects, embody the vital spirit of Venezuelan society, notes Le Monde. "My country is synonymous with perpetual crises and paradise beaches," the 32-year-old photographer says. Insta360 has got big plans for photography’s future, including an envisioned robot photographer. The company has also confirmed that not one, but two mirrorless cameras are in development. The company’s CEO, Jingkang “JK” Liu, disclosed recently that one of them will apparently have a shape not considered before, notes DP Review. Rather than relying on the usual process of framing, focusing and pressing the shutter, added DIY Photography, the new camera could rethink how photographs are captured altogether, Liu suggested.
