Ukrainian stylist and art director Eugenia Skvarska grew up in Kyiv, on the banks of the Dnipro, and after Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Dam in 2023, she felt an urgency to document the river. The series “Dnipro, the Plunging Shore,” made with photographer Kalpesh Lathigra, is featured in the first edition of Unofficial, a new publishing series launched by UK-based creative director Ben McLaughlin. French legislators have passed a measure banning children under 15 from using social media, becoming the first country in the European Union to pass a blanket ban on the platforms as concerns grow worldwide over the harmful effects of digital content on kids. The bill also bans the use of mobile phones in high schools. Several families in France have sued TikTok over teen suicides they say are linked to harmful content. Ariana Grande is taking aim at a group of anonymous hackers whom, she claims, infiltrated the devices of people in her inner circle, stealing unreleased music, private photos and behind-the-scenes footage that was later sold online. In a lawsuit filed n California state court, the singer points to a years-long hacking campaign that targeted several of her photographers, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
