Researchers at the University of California, Riverside have developed a new tool that can identify fake videos by tracing them back to the AI system that made them, using distinct visual “fingerprints” that these generative models leave behind. The new framework — called SAGA, short for Source Attribution of Generative AI Videos—identifies visual patterns within fake video frames that were unintentionally introduced by AI video generators, providing a forensic path to identifying the systems that created the videos, notes PetaPixel. A rare Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH prototype created during the development of the one-of-a-kind Leica M for (RED) is heading to auction, months Digital Camera World. According to Leica Rumors, the lens will be offered at the next Wetzlar Camera Auctions sale, which is scheduled to take place in Wetzlar, Germany, on October 10.
