At its recent WWDC (Worldwide Developer Conference), Apple made some expected announcements, including a smarter Siri that is also coming to the iPhone camera app. “With Visual Intelligence, Siri Mode will be able to ‘see what you see' and be able to tell you more information about it. You can translate text and identify plants, or even get nutritional insights when you point your Camera at a plate of food,” notes Mashable. Photojournalists covering protests at the Delaney Hall immigration center in Newark, New Jersey, have already reported being targeted by ICE agents, while one police sergeant has been charged by stealing a photographer’s camera bag. Now, notes NBC News, a photojournalist has been hit and dragged by a car amid the chaos. The incident occurred as protesters attempted to block vehicles entering and leaving the detention center.
