Some people love the visuals they deliver, but, notes the BBC, other viewers can’t stand all the buzzing, and they’ve been complaining on social media. Social News: Meta Will Test Premium Subscriptions for Instagram and Facebook

Meta plans to test new subscriptions that give people access to exclusive features on it apps, the company tells TechCrunch. Meta also says it plans to scale Manus, an AI agent it recently acquired for a reported $2 billion, as part of its subscription plans. Legal Brief: Court Rules in Favor of Georgia Election Takeover and Photo Ban

A federal appeals court has upheld parts of Georgia’s 2021 voting law that allow state takeovers of county election management and prohibit ballot photography. The ruling by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals is the latest decision that supports the election law passed in the wake of the 2020 election, when Democrat Joe Biden narrowly defeated Republican Donald Trump in Georgia, notes WABE.
