As a photographer, have you become frustrated with Instagram’s algorithm and obsession with Reels videos? “Within the last year or so the platform has become completely different,” notes YouTuber Evan Ranft, who nonetheless says you can still grow your Insta following without posting Reels. Spotlight: Simon Foxton's Compelling AI Experiments

“The genie is out of the box, so why not grab on it and ride,” says British image-maker Simon Foxton, discussing his recent work. Predominantly known for his work as a stylist examining ideas of masculinity with photographers such as Nick Knight and Jason Evans, Foxton is now using the Midjourney AI image generator to create “people and worlds,” notes AnOther. “You must be quite precise, you quickly realize that AI isn’t a sentient being, so whatever you put in, it will just take it verbatim. Exhibitions: Ken Light's American Stories

Documentary photographer, filmmaker and educator Ken Light has seen his share of significant moments in American history. The exhibition “Ken Light/American Stories: 1969-1995,” on view at the Bronx Documentary Center starting Oct. 10, showcases three decades of work.
