DJI’s newly announced Mini 4 Pro, the latest model in its Mini series of compact and foldable sub-250g drones, is the first with omnidirectional obstacle detection and avoidance, notes DP Review. It also features 4K 60fps HDR video as well as 10-bit D-Log M, 48-megapixel raw stills and 4K 60fps vertical shooting. The drone’s single camera has a Type 1/1.3 CMOS sensor with dual native ISO, a 24mm (equiv.) lens, and a fixed F1.7 aperture.

Photographer Marvin Newman, who captured shadows on a Chicago main street. people in front of shuttered storefronts on Coney Island and athletes in competition—including Bill Mazeroski of the Pittsburgh Pirates smashing the 1960 World Series-winning home run—died on Sept. 13 at his home in Jersey City, N.J., reports The New York Times. He was 95. “I wanted to change the world with my photographs — show the well-off the underclass — where they lived, how they lived, what they did,” he once said.
