Exhibitions: Native America Photographers Tell Their Own Stories

On view through May 22, the exhibition “Speaking with Light: Contemporary Indigenous Photography” is one of the first major museum surveys to explore the practices of Indigenous photographers working over the past three decades, notes the Denver Art Museum. The show features work by more than 30 contemporary Indigenous photographers that brings attention to misrepresentations by focusing on Indigenous perspectives, exploring themes of history, loss, identity, and representation. Tamron’s new 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD lens for Fujifilm APS-C cameras is billed as a fast-aperture ultra-wide zoom lens that is both small yet balanced, offering a mix of features that work well in a variety of shooting situations, notes PetaPixel. The lens is constructed of 12 elements arranged into 10 groups, two of which are Glass Molded Aspherical lenses that are “precisely located” to assure high resolution across an image, from edge to edge. YouTube channel YCImaging created 10 pieces of short form content and then released them every day for two weeks, Monday through Friday. They did the same thing across the three different platforms.
