Now a viral video featuring Vice President Kamala Harris speaking gibberish during a speech has been revealed as a deepfake. The video footage is originally from a speech by Vice President Harris at Howard University on April 25 but was digitally manipulated, notes Boom, which also features the original speech.

Meta is testing a new payout model for its Ads on Reels monetization program that pays creators based on the performance of their public Reels, not the earnings of ads on their Reels, notes TechCrunch. The company began testing Ads on Facebook Reels last year as a way for creators to earn money on their Reels. Meta is now inviting thousands more creators to join the program, including many creators who previously participated in the Reels Play bonus program on Facebook, which was recently shut down.
