New York City’s police watchdog has opened a probe into the arrest of a photojournalist during a protest over the subway killing of a homeless man. The move comes multiple complaints about the NYPD’s behavior were made, notes the New York Post. Civilian Complaint Review Board Chair Arva Rice said the agency received the complaints after more than ten demonstrators, including credentialed photographer Stephanie Keith, were hauled away in cuffs. "I was trying to photograph and literally the next second I was grabbed,” Keith told The Post.

Hasselblad is reportedly joining Canon and Nikon in phasing out DSLRs, notes Engadget, reporting that the company is discontinuing its H-system cameras—medium-format DSLR that, adds PetaPixel, were for many years standard among high-end studio photographers. Third-party vendor Capture Integration broke the news on its blog. Hasselblad last updated the H series in 2016 with the H6D system. The move leaves Pentax and Ricoh as the biggest remaining names in the rapidly diminishing DSLR space.
