Addendum: Divorced Woman Demands Refund from Wedding Photographer 4 Years Later

A South African wedding photographer recently received what he calls the craziest request he has heard: A woman whose wedding he shot four years ago — that is, four years ago — contacted him to demand a full refund because she got divorced and “doesn’t need the photos anymore.” Johannesburg-based photographer Lance Romeo told PetaPixel that the client was a friend of a friend he met shortly before the wedding. Malaysian-based photographer Pang Way has a close relationship with mantises. “From an up-close point of view, he depicts the insects as they balance on their long legs with wings splayed in a fan-like fashion,” notes My Modern Met, allowing viewers to admire all of their incredible characteristics, from the brilliant coloring to the delicate webbing over their wings. State of the Art: Canon Is Launching a Curated NFT Marketplace

Canon USA is jumping into the NFT space with the launch of Cadabra, an online curated marketplace, notes Canon Rumors. The Cadabra marketplace will “empower creators by connecting them to enthusiastic collectors who celebrate the art of photography through a shared appreciation for these digital artworks,” explains the company.  Other companies, of course, have hoped to make a mark with NFTs: Last fall, Meta announced that creators would be able to mint their own “digital collectibles” on Instagram.    Read the full Story >>
