Fujifilm’s newly announced Instax Mini 12 instant camera—successor to 2020’s Instax Mini 11—has a new look and adds parallax correction capabilities, automatic flash control and a multi-function twist lens, notes DP Review. With parallax correction, Fujifilm says users will now see a viewfinder which aligns with the lens when using Close-Up Mode, so users no longer have to guess where the center of the frame is. Legal Brief: New Copyright Claims Board Rules in Favor of Photographer in First Case

The newly established Copyright Claims Board has made its first final decision, awarding a photographer $1,000 for a copyright infringement. The photographer, David Oppenheimer, sued lawyer Douglas Prutton for using one of his photographs on his website without permission, notes PetaPixel. The Copyright Claims Board was set up in 2021 to rule on small copyright infringement claims, giving photographers an alternative to hiring pricey attorneys who generally balk at persuing smaller monetary payouts.   Read the full Story >>
