Trending: Pantone Expands its SkinTone Guide to Help Creative Further Diversity

For the first time in 10 years, Pantone is broadening its SkinTone Guide, reports Women’s Wear Daily. Initially launched with 110 skin tones for the cosmetics industry, the Guide now has 28 additional color options. The new shades include a wider array of darker tones and yellow undertones created at the request of Pantone customers who are looking for specific colors that closer represented them, adds PetaPixel. The Pantone SkinTone technology allows TV, smartphone, tablet and printer manufacturers to have their devices tested for what Pantone describes as “authentically reproducing” skin tones.   Read the full Story >>
