Kashmiri photojournalist Sanna Irshad Mattoo tweeted last week that Indian immigration authorities prevented her from flying to the United States to receive a Pulitzer Prize, even though she had a valid visa and ticket. Mattoo was part of a Reuters team awarded the 2022 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography for coverage of the Covid-19 crisis in India. Mattoo said she has no idea why she was prevented from traveling. “Is it about my work? Is it something else? I should be told. State of the Art: Microsoft Adds DALL-E to Bing, Taking AI Image Generation Mainstream

Microsoft is embracing AI image generation as a tool for creatives, notes Ars Technica: The company recently announced that it is integrating AI image generation powered by DALL-E 2 into its Bing search engine, Edge browser, and a new Office app called Microsoft Designer.
