The approach can redefine what it means to make 3D models. “You can use its drones to model environments for planning angles and camera placement, or recreating entire real-life locations for VFX,” notes NFS. The Atlantic’s In Focus photography blog brings together more images by wire service photojournalists covering the war in Ukraine. “In areas where Russian forces have withdrawn or been pushed out, some residents are attempting to return to their old lives, clearing debris and rebuilding. The United Nations now estimates that nearly 5.9 million refugees have fled Ukraine since the invasion began,” notes the blog. A judge has dismissed the defamation portion of a lawsuit filed by a Los Angeles-based photographer against actress Hillary Duff. The photographer, Darryl Wilkins, alleged that he was slandered and libeled during an episode of The Wendy Williams Show that dealt with his 2020 encounter with actress Hillary Duff in a park. Wilkins claimed he was taking pictures of children playing football to test out his new camera gear when the actress approached him and asked him to stop. She later posted a video of the encounter at Instagram. Williams called his actions “creepy.” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Upinder S. Kalra cited free-speech grounds in dismissing the case. Specifically, Saldiva looks at the decline of televised wrestling and the rise of Youtube street duels. “For Streetbeefs the rules are simple: two fighters, three rounds, no biting, no eye gouging, no throat chops, no cursing, don’t insult the fighters and obviously no drugs, alcohol or filming.
