Variable frame rate, or VFR as it is more commonly known, or Varispeed on some high-end professional cameras, is a way to record internal slow-motion or speed ramping (speeding up) within your camera, and without having to work video editing magic later on when editing. How many frames per second you can record up to in VFR mode and in what codec is limited from camera to camera, so your mileage may vary. Nature Watch: Are Drones Harming Sri Lanka's Flamingos?

The annual migration of a flock of thousands of greater flamingos to northern Sri Lanka’s Mannar wetland draws crowds of photographers each year—a growing number of whom now use drones to photograph the birds from above. Environmental activists and authorities have says the presence of drones disturbs the birds and could drive them away from Mannar altogether, notes Mongabay. On Valentine’s Day 2017, photographer Justin Aversano met Ali and Gili, twin sisters, at a gallery show he’d curated. He later photographed the pair, and  99 other sets of twins, using Polaroid 120mm and 4×5 film. Four years later he minted the Twins collection as NFTs, and in October the NFT for "Twin Flames #83.
