Ten From Your Top Ten

By Peggy Roalf   Wednesday December 11, 2013

Best PhotoBooks of 2013 lists, that is. Not that every list is a true “top ten.” Time LightBox had photography editors, curators, and writers from here and abroad take a stab; their list runs to nearly 40 titles. But the Washington Post was extremely restrained, with just five titles to chose from. So I went through ten lists and selected one favorite from each, for the 2013 DART Top Ten PhotoBooks.

But it’s entirely up to you, dear reader, to decide on the Best Photobooks of 2013, whether you're choosing a great gift for a friend or adding to your library. Here goes, in pretty much no particular order. To see each list's complete list, click "More." Your holiday shopping just got easier—so have fun with it!
