Fujifilm Corporation has announced it will invest approximately 5 billion yen (nearly $31.8 million) into expanding its production capabilities for Instax film. Fujifilm says the move is in response to growing global demand for Instax film products amid a broader increase in demand for analog photography overall, notes PetaPixel. Fujifilm’s Instax business is massive, accounting for around 50% of the company’s overall imaging business. Instax hit its target of 150 billion yen of Instax sales one year ahead of schedule, achieving the feat in fiscal year 2024. Read the full Story >>

Instagram is expanding Reels-viewing beyond mobile: The company has announced it is launching IG for TV, a new experience that lets you watch Reels on TV, starting with Amazon Fire TV. “By bringing Reels to TVs, Instagram can better compete with YouTube, which largely dominates the TV space. Instagram likely wants viewers to switch to its TV app while watching content on the couch, similar to flipping through TV channels,” notes TechCrunch.
