A New York subway rider is going viral after a TikToker accused her of breaking his Meta AI glasses. The TikToker, who goes by eth8n, says the incident was unprovoked, but, reports Futurism, the internet has wholeheartedly rallied behind the woman who allegedly smashed the glasses, which, adds Daily Dot, have been criticized as a “creeping surveillance threat” because they can can discreetly record video. “I hope she called him a dork for wearing them before she broke them,” commented one person.

Through May 3, 2026, the National Gallery of Victoria, in Melbourne, Australia, features the exhibition "Women Photographers 1900–1975: A Legacy of Light," showcasing the work of more than 80 photographers creating “an image of themselves, of others, of the times – from images of the women’s suffrage movement at the turn of the twentieth century, through to the women’s liberation movement and beyond.” Among the artists included: Berenice Abbott, Lola Álvarez Bravo, Dora Maar, Consuelo Kanaga, Tina Modotti, Lucia Moholy, and Toyoko Tokiwa.

In a watershed moment for Hollywood and generative artificial intelligence, Disney said on Thursday that it would buy a $1 billion stake in OpenAI and bring its characters to Sora, the A.I. company’s short-form video platform. A curated selection of videos made with Sora will be available to stream on Disney+ as part of the three-year deal, notes The New York Times. Disney, Universal, Warner Bros. U.K. photographer David Scholes is the top winner of the 2025 International Wedding Photographer of the Year for capturing another side of wedding-day excitement: His winning image features a young boy peering through a window at a wedding cake. “As soon as I walked in and saw the cake I quickly noticed a boy charging back and forth outside,’ he notes. "To me a photo of a cake is boring but I thought if I can catch this kid in one of the window frames…that would make a better picture.”
