After her partner left for war, Elena Kalinichenko turned to photography to capture her personal conflict, documenting the emotional toll of war on those left behind. The result, notes Euro News, is her series “I’m Not Fine.” Her haunting images, capturing herself and her family during blackouts with nothing but a flashlight, were shortlisted for the Saltzman-Leibovitz Photography Prize, an initiative launched by Annie Leibovitz and Lisa Saltzman this year. Art News: Texas Drops Case Against Sally Mann and Fort Worth Museum

Tarrant County, Texas, has dropped its case against photographer Sally Mann and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth after a grand jury there declined to take action regarding allegations that the institution had displayed child pornography in presenting images by Mann featuring unclothed youths.
