State of the Art: YouTube Shorts is Getting a Tool for Adding AI-Generated Video

It's about to get easier to add AI-generated video into your short-form posts. YouTube has announced that Shorts will integrate Veo 2 — Google DeepMind’s newest video mode — which will allow users to generate and add AI clips into their videos, notes Mashable. The new feature will be a part of Shorts' Dream Screen, which already lets users add AI-generated backgrounds to their posts. In an announcement, YouTube said that Veo 2 better "understands real-world physics and human movement," which should result in more detailed and accurate results.   Read the full Story >>

An exhibition of black-and-white photographs of children purportedly killed in the Russia-Ukraine conflict that has appeared at German political protests is part of a propaganda campaign orchestrated by a network of people with links to the Russian state, according to an investigation by Reuters. The aim of the exhibition is to erode support for governments supplying weapons to Ukraine to defend itself against Russia,” notes the news service.
