Sigma’s newly revealed BF is a radically minimalist 24MP full-frame L-mount mirrorless camera, and. notes DP Review, you’ve never seen anything like it. Measuring 5.1 by 2.9 inches by 1.4 inches and weighing just 13.7 ounces, the compact camera’s body features a single rear-plate dial and three buttons that provide haptic feedback when pressed. Sigma says the interface has been designed to be simple and intuitive. Other than these three rear buttons, the camera has shutter and power buttons. What We Learned This Week: A Record 124 Journalists Were Killed in 2024

A record 124 journalists and media workers were killed in 2024, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists--the most in any year since the organization began keeping records in 1992. The Israeli military accounted for 85 of the 124 deaths, and, noted the Press Gazette, the CPJ believes that in ten cases there is evidence journalists were deliberately targeted by Israeli fighters. Couples in China are looking for photographers to document their split-ups, reports Chosun Biz. One Shanghai photographer received an order for "divorce photography" in late 2024 from a couple who wanted to capture for posterity scenes of them walking and talking together after untying the knot at a local civil affairs bureau. The package price, which included a few videos and photos, was 1,800 yuan (about $248).
