Tech News: You Can Extend a WeTransfer Expiration Date

WeTransfer’s expiration dates have been vexing for creatives: If recipients don’t download files the moment they get the link or email, they can easily forget to do so before the link expires—at which point they have to ask for files to be resent. The company is aware of the issue and now appears to be trying to mitigate the problem by letting receivers modify the expiration dates of files on their mobile app through a new “Save for Now” option. Spotlight: He Caught Shooting Stars Raining on Stonehenge

Sometimes, everything just comes together. But not often as well as when UK-based astrophotographer Josh Dury captured the Perseid meteor shower over Stonehenge in Wiltshire, England.To capture his stunning composite image of meteors streaking over the 5,000-year-old site, Dury shot photos from the monument grounds for three and a half hours, notes LiveScience. He then combined 43 individual exposures of shooting stars with a deep image of the background sky,  where the central band of the Milky Way slashes toward the horizon.   Read the full Story >>
