Earlier this month, the US Senate Armed Services Committee completed its revised version of the 2025 National Defense Authorization Act and, unlike the House's version, it did not contain a ban on DJI drones. However, notes PetaPixel, an amendment to add it back has been submitted. Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) submitted an amendment to the bill that includes the ban on DJI (and Autel Robotics) drones. The chances the amendment is accepted are higher given that it was co-sponsored by Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), making it bipartisan, explains Commercial UAV News.

Acclaimed photographer Jim Goldberg traces his relationship with Polaroid photography back to the mid-80s, when he received a commission for an installation at a nursing home in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Goldberg is now part of a mentoring partnership between Polaroid and Magnum Photos that aims to celebrate the storytelling power of instant black-and-white photography, notes Dazed, where the photographer talks about the creative instinct and how to develop it.
