After winning a seat on the Hallandale Beach city commission in 2018, at age 21, Sabrina Javellana became one of the youngest elected officials in Florida’s history. Then deepfake nude images from the notorious forum site 4chan derailed her life. “Although fake explicit material has existed for decades thanks to image-editing software, deepfakes stand out for their striking believability. Social News: You Can Now Share 20 Slides in One Instagram Post

Instagram is expanding the number of photos and videos that can be added to a single grid post, Each carousel post can now have up to 20 photos or videos, the company said in a recent announcement. Previously, users could add up to 10 pieces of content to each carousel post — something that’s colloquially known as a “photo dump.” The expansion brings Instagram more in line with TikTok, which currently supports posts of up to 35 photos, notes The Verge.   Read the full Story >>
