Industry News: Fujifilm on Track for "Record-High" Earnings as Pro Cam Sales Soar

Fujifilm’s recently released financial results for the first quarter of 2024 show an overall increase in earning and project a record-high year of earnings due to imaging sales. “This year has seen Fujifilm release some fantastic bodies, such as the Fujifilm X-T50 and the Fujifilm GFX 100S II,” notes Digital Camera Review. “These professional cameras, in combination with consumer-oriented products like the Instax Wide 400, have resulted in what CEO Teiichi Goto once described as a 'gold mine in the photography business.'”   Read the full Story >>

Ethan James Green, the photographer behind the next Pirelli calendar, has vowed to make it sexy again after the #MeTooera  “forced everyone to take a pause.” Pirelli recently debuted a sneak peek of its 2025 calendar, which features celebrity models like Hunter Schafer, John Boyega, Jodie Turner-Smith and Padma Lakshmi. Tech News: Lexar's New Professional Go Portable SSD and Hub for Smartphone Filmmakers

The tiny SSD comes in capacities up to 2TB and has brackets allowing you to easily attach it to your iPhone or Android device’s USB-C port. Russian-born photographer Anastasia Samoylova left a lasting mark with her series “FloodZone,” made in the aftermathh of the 2017 hurricane that wreaked havoc on Miami. The work evokes “the acute climate anxiety that lies beneath the city’s American dreamscape,” notes The Guardian, which looks at Samoylova’s career ahead of her upcoming book, Adaptation, a retrospective survey.
