Amber Potter, 23, was sentenced to three and a half years in jail after admitting she caused the death of man by taking a selfie while behind the wheel of a car. David Sinar, 64, had just bought a vintage Lambretta scooter and was drive home from Bournemouth, England,  when Potter plowed into him with her car, apparently while winking for her selfie, notes Sky News. See I Now: Vintage Photos of Iran, Leaked Online

A collection of more than 3,000 images showing Iran under the Qajar dynasty (1789-1925) has been leaked online, affording viewers a rare glimpse of Persian history. The photos were recently confirmed to have come from the archive of Tehran’s Golestan Palace. Exhibitions: The 'Must See' Vivian Maier Show

“In her first U.S. retrospective, Vivian Maier proves to be much more than a street photographer,” declares Artnet. That exhibition, at Fofografiska New York through September 29, features approximately 230 items, including vintage and modern prints, black-and-white and color photographs, Super 8 footage, contact sheets, and audio recordings. “My aim was to give a complete overview of the work,” said Anne Morin, curator of the exhibition (which debuted in 2021 at  at Paris’ Musée du Luxembourg).
