Motion Art: Adobe Stock Adds Millions of 4K Videos to Its Library

Adobe Stock has announced the addition 4K videos to its library, bringing a massive influx of assets to the service, notes PetaPixel. The updated collection adds 15 million videos to the existing library; all are available for Adobe Stock subscribers at no additional charge. “Gone are the days when 4K was a luxury reserved for high-end projects. Art News: Preserving Arlene Gottfried's Legacy

When the acclaimed New York street photographer Arlene Gottfried died in 2017 at age 66, her archive was left in limbo and disarray in boxes piled on cabinets and shelves in a storage unit the size of a bathroom. Last year, however, Gottfried’s sister in law, Dara Gottfried, began having the photo collection digitized and organized, with the help of Eryn DuChene, a young photographer. OM Systems has announced its new flagship, the Olympus OM-1 Mark II—a 20 MP (5184 x 3888) camera with a stacked BSI Live MOS sensor and TruePic X processor. The new camera does not change much over the original OM-1, which was introduced two years ago, instead featuring an incremental improvement of the body and the software, notes DIY Photography, citing the camera’s enhanced AI subject detection for humans, live graduated neutral density filters, updated menu configuration, 14-bit raw output, rubberized dials and rugged construction.
