Winogrand is known primarily for his lack-and-white street photography, but he also shot more than 45,000 color slides between the early 1950s and late 1960s. AI is again making political news, probably not for the last tIme in 2024: In the hours before the New Hampshire primary, GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump “ranted” about his superior “POLE NUMBERS” in a post at his Truth Social site—but, adds Mediaite, what has everyone talking is a picture that he re-posted from a supporter. The image shows the former president praying in a divinely lighted church pew, but sharp-eyed observers noted that Trump’s clasped hand has five fingers and a thumb. But it is here and if used as a tool, it can help you take your creativity to a new level.” So notes Melbourne, Australia-based photographer and educator Julie Powell at Photofocus. Powell recently used AI image generator Midjourney to create a mood board for a photoshoot. “I knew roughly what I wanted, but getting these ideas across to my team was challenging. Exhibitions: Capturing the Beauty of Big Wave Surfing

The Morrison Hotel Gallery in L.A. is expanding its archive of rock n’ roll imagery into fine-art photography of another, wetter kind, notes Variety: Inspired by HBO’s documentary series 100 Foot Wave, the gallery is featuring an exhibition called “The New Wave”— a collection of large-scale photographs curated by Morrison Hotel Gallery’s creative director, Timothy White.
