Tech News: DRoom Is a Portable Darkroom You Can Use Anywhere

If you’re one of the people who are bringing analog photography back, you’ll want to know about the DRoom Film Developing Kit, which is designed to let you develop your rolls of 35mm and 120-format film anywhere. With traditional film-developing tanks, you need to load your film either in a darkroom or inside a changing bag. But, notes DIY Photography,  DRoom allows you to load your film, pour your chemicals in and out and then wash and hang the film no matter what the light levels. Trending: Photographer Fined After Drone Nearly Crashes Into Fatboy Slim

A court in the UK has ordered a photographer to pay over $1,100 in fines after he nearly crashed a drone into Fatboy Slim as the DJ performed at Brighton Beach. The incident took place on July 22, 2022, notes EDM. Roughly 15 minutes before Slim's performance ended, amateur drone pilot Giles Darby reportedly flew his DJI Mavic Mini onto the stage and narrowly missed both the DJ and members of the crowd. Darby, 39, has now admitted to "recklessly or negligently" putting Slim at risk after losing control while operating the drone, but insisted there was no malicious intent.   Read the full Story >>
