Misinformation about the Israel-Hamas war is coming from inside the tech industry, notes Futurism, which reports that Adobe Stock “has been caught” selling AI-generated images of the conflict. The fake images were first spotted by Australian news outlet Crikey. “A quick search on Adobe Stock for ‘Israel-Palestine conflict’ brings up dozens of AI-generated images purporting to show the Middle East conflict; in fact, the overwhelming majority of results are AI,” adds PetaPixel, adding that while some pictures appear more real than others, “more than a few could be perceived as real.”

The already-alarming proliferation of child sexual abuse images on the internet could become much worse if something is not done to put controls on artificial intelligence tools that generate deepfake photos, an internet watchdog agency has warned. The U.K.-based Internet Watch Foundation urges governments and technology providers to act quickly before a flood of AI-generated images of child sexual abuse overwhelms law enforcement investigators and vastly expands the pool of potential victims, notes Associated Press.
