Tech News: Adobe Takes Firefly AI Out of Beta and Increases Creative Cloud Pricing

After being in beta testing for several months, Adobe Firefly, the software company's suite of generative AI creation tools, is now available for use by all Creative Cloud users, notes DP Review.  Firefly encompasses a variety of AI-based tools, such as Text to Image, Generative Fill and Text Effects. It is available as a standalone web application and incorporated into several Adobe software applications, such as Photoshop. The company is also adjusting the pricing scheme for its Creative Cloud subscription service, with around a 10-percent price increase for several subscription plans for customers in North America.   Read the full Story >>

In late 2021, photographer Jeff Sedlik acquired an old, faded, framed print at an estate sale in Connecticut for $2,200. After opening it, notes PetaPixel,he realized it was actually two signed Alfred Stieglitz prints that together may sell for upwards of $250,000: Sedlik’s find is now up for auction at Christie’s. The pair of platinum prints, titled “A Venetian Courtyard,” has been dated to 1894. Christies calls the work “a quintessential representation of the aesthetic movement known as Pictorialism,”   Read the full Story >>
