Canon recently announced that the company had reached two major production milestones—a cumulative total of 110 million EOS Series interchangeable-lens cameras, achieved in March, and 160 million RF/EF series interchangeable lenses, achieved in May. An EOS R6 Mark II was the 110 millionth EOS series camera produced, while an RF100mm F2.8 L MACRO IS USM became the company's 160 millionth interchangeable lens, notes Canon Rumors. BTW: EOS, for Electro Optical System, is also the name of the Greek goddess of the dawn.

Manhattan-based photographer Renee Cox spent the ’80s and ’90s in Paris at the center of the fashion world, shooting editorials for the glossy magazines. When she decided to leave fashion she landed her work in exhibitions at the Tate, the Nasher, and the Studio Museum of Harlem. But now, after three decades, she is getting the showcase she has long deserved, notes Art News. The exhibition “Proof of Being,” at Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York, presents the most celebrated photographs produced by the artist since 1992.

Umoja, a village in Samburu County, northern Kenya, looks much like other tribal settlements or manyattas, with surrounding grasslands and communal living. One thing is different, though: It’s void of men. Founded in 1990 as a sanctuary for women of Samburu escaping gender-based violence, Umoja is home to females of all ages. Men are prohibited from entry. Nonetheless, Ghanaian photographer Paul Ninson ffound out about Umoja and decided to photograph the village in 2017. CNN features his work.
