Trending: Thieves Steal Documentary Film Crew's Equipment in San Francisco

A documentary crew says they were filming a scene in San Francisco Wednesday when their car was broken into and thieves stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, notes NBC Bay Area. Documentary filmmaker Eli Steele says that about $30,000 of gear was stolen out of his rental car.  Steele, who was in San Francisco working on a film with his father, conservative author Shelby Steele, explained on Twitter that he left his rented SUV near San Francisco’s Lombard Street for 10 minutes and returned to find it had been broken into. “Called 911 & they hung up twice,” he tweeted. In 2014, Beth Lilly ended a marriage and left a photography job at a major entertainment network and pursued the dream of being an artist. But after two years in which she went through all her savings, she did what other Americans have done when their lives are in freefall: She took to the road. “I needed uninterrupted stillness to be with my thoughts and find a path forward,” she notes at Blind, which features her project “The Seventh Bardo”—portraits of people in their cars. Tech News: Sony Unveils New CFexpress Card With Huge 2TB Capacity

Sony has announced two new large capacity CFexpress Type A cards—a 960GB version and a 1920GB version, notes DIY Photography. That latter, adds PetaPixel, is now the largest CFexpress Type A card available. The two new cards offer read speeds of up to 800MB/sec and write speeds of up to 700MB/sec. Their VPG 200 Video Performance Guarantee specification rating guarantees they’ll never drop below 200MB/sec sustained write speeds, reports DIYP, noting that CFexpress has become the norm for most cameras on today’s market. Art News: Warhol's Paintings Rise After SCOTUS Ruling

The art market can be weird: After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in May that the use of one of Andy Warhol’s paintings of Prince in a magazine article violated photographer Lynn Goldsmith’s copyright, the price of the paintings may vault upwards. The Wall Street Journal reports that a painting from the Warhol series, which had been selling for around  $173,000, could now go for $1 million.
