Ten years have passed since the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings that shook the city and the world. Over the past decade, WBUR staff photographers Jesse Costa and Robin Lubbock have returned to the marathon, and to the victims and their families, to capture the resilience of Boston and the marathon community. Their images are on view in "The Finish Line," an exhibition about the bombings and the race (through April 14 in the windows of WBUR’s CitySpace). Costa and Robin Lubbock recently talked about the work.

ChatGPT has already proven to be a powerful tool for writing and answering questions, but it also has the knowledge to help photographers create their own custom photo styles for Fujifilm and Sony cameras, notes PetaPixel, which reports that a member of the Fujifilm Film Simulation Facebook group managed to create his own film simulation recipe for his Fujifilm camera using ChatGPT. Fellow group member Andrea Pizzini, who also manages Sony Alpha Rumors, was quick to try it for himself. The result, ultimately, was a five-bullet-point recipe.

Sennheiser says its design offers significant rear noise rejection, ensuring that your voice is captured clearly in your environment. The standard basic model ($129) has a base allowing you to stand the microphone on your desk; the Profile Streaming Kit ($199) includes a 3-point self-locking boom arm for getting the mic up off the desk.

In total, the World Press Photo awards committee received 60,448 photographs from 3,752 photographers in six regional categories—Africa, Asia, Europe, North & Central America, South America, and Southeast Asia & Oceania—notes The Phoblographer, which looks at the gear used to create the winning work. “Photojournalists all around the world often tend to use their gear for a lot longer than enthusiasts do. It’s interesting to see how many still don’t appear to have switched to mirrorless cameras,” notes the blog.
