Water cascading from a wall of ice with gray brushstrokes of clouds overhead may make for a beautiful image, but the scene, captured by photographer Paul Nicklen in August of 2014, is also evidence that  Earth’s glaciers are melting at an unprecedented rate due to human-caused climate change. It’s one of ten image featured by CNN that have awoken the world to a potential disaster. Shoot It Now: Photographers Flock to SF for Rare Shot

Saturday morning, people will flock to the intersection of California and Gough streets in San Francisco to briefly stand in the road, facing east. They'll be there for a chance to photograph the sun rising as it aligns seamlessly with California Street and the Bay Bridge — a spectacle that happens only twice a year, notes SF Gate. Local photographer Pankaj Bhargava, who’s photographed the phenomenon for the past two years, says the sun lines up with California Street for only a few minutes and then sits directly over the bridge.   Read the full Story >>

Trending: Nick Lachey Avoids Battery Charge After Clash with Photographer

Nick Lachey, ex-boyband member and currently host of Love is Blind, has been ordered to attend anger management sessions and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings following a public clash with a paparazzi photographer last year, notes People magazine. Video of the incident was published on TMZ in March 2022, showing Lachey reaching into the car of photographer Jody Santos, in an attempt to grab her phone during the incident  n Beverly Hills.
