Exhibitions: Uta Barth's "Peripheral Vision"

“For more than forty years, Los Angeles–based artist Uta Barth has made photographs that investigate the act of looking. In her multipart works, she explores the ephemeral qualities of light and its ability to overwhelm and entirely destabilize human vision,” notes LA’s J. Paul Getty Museum, which hosts the exhibition “Uta Barth: Peripheral Vision” through February 19. Call for Entries: The 2023 Best of Photojournalism Competition

The 2023 Best of Photojournalism competition is accepting entries through 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 24. The competition is split into six primary divisions: Still Photojournalism, Video Photojournalism, Picture Editing, Video Editing, Online Video Presentation & Innovation, and Documentary.
