About a year ago, DJI added the Mavic 3 standard and Cine models to the company’s drone lineup; now there’s the more affordable ($1,469) Mavic 3 Classic, which boasts the same build, O3+ transmission system, camera and 46-minute flight time. What's notably missing is the telephoto lens that can zoom up to 28X digitally, notes DP Review. The Mavic 3 Classic features a 20MP Four Thirds sensor camera. The 24mm lens has an 84-degree field of view with a variable f/2.8-11 aperture that can capture 12.8 stops of dynamic range.

Now being crowdfunded at Kickstarter, acclaimed documentary photographer Eugene Richards’s book In This Brief Life is, as he puts it, “a collection of some fifty years of photographs, from my earliest pictures made of sharecropper life in the Arkansas Delta throughout my lifetime as a photographer.” It came about, he writes, as he grappled with “the fast-shifting perceptions of what is meant today by socially-conscious and documentary photography” and began searching through his own archive.
