In Focus: Airline Detains Man for Taking Pictures Onboard

A man who took a picture during his flight was stopped by crew from disembarking, reports Aviation Figures. Freelancer Jeremy Dwyer-Lindgren, from Seattle, was traveling with American Airlines when he took a photo of the cabin. He says that flight attendants demanded to see the photos on his phone and blocked him from leaving the plane. “Honest question: can a crew member physically prevent me from getting off of the airplane until I showed them the contents of my phone,” Dwyer-Lindgren tweeted later. New research has shown that Hawaii has the most photographers per 100,000 people in the U.S. Stock photo agency 123RF used data from the U.S. Census Bureau to find out which 10 states are home to the most photographers. While you might have expected New York, the fashion and media capital of the world, to top the list, notes Digital Camera World, natural beauty seems to be the key factor.
