Insight: How Much Do Photographers Make?

Over the next ten years, the number of photographers is expected to grow by 17%, or more than double the average growth rate for all industries, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and those figures suggest the demand for photographers is still strong, especially after the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, notes Pesala Bandara at PetaPixel. There were 110,500 photographers employed in the U.S. in 2021. Spotlight: An Ethical Contemporary Vision of British Identity

Over the past two decades the social landscape of Britain has shifted, with many provincial regions – where Brexit resonated – facing economic hardship and a loss of belonging, declares the British Journal of Photography. Tech News: DJI's New Drone May Blow Your Mind

A couple of years ago you needed to buy a specific drone for a specific type of shooting. But, notes Fstoppers, DJI’s newly announced Avata FPV drone seems to have combined all the best features in one “mind-blowing” package that is small, safe, acrobatic, and capable of capturing top image quality. The drone, captures 48MP stills, 4K video at up to 60 frames per second and 2.7K video at up to 120fps. It features an ultra-wide-angle lens with a viewing angle of up to 155º and a fixed F2.8 aperture and 18-minute flying time.
