See It Now: Festival of Latin American Photography

Through Aug. 1 the Bronx Documentary Center is featuring the Festival of Latin American Photography, which included imagery throughout the Melrose community by photographers from Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Venezuela, Perú and El Salvador. The works on display represent long-term projects on family, memory, culture and other social issues As part of the festival, the BDC is holding online workshops, tours, and panel discussions as well as in-person events in the Bronx community. Tech News: Nikon is Exiting the DSLR Market, According to Report

Nikon will withdraw its business from the DSLR market and focus its resources on mirrorless cameras, according to a report from Nikkei Asia. If true, the end of Nikon DSLR has come earlier than expected, after it was previously reported that its F-mount cameras wouldn’t be abandoned until 2025. But Nikkei Asia says that Nikon has been “losing out” to smartphones, which increasingly feature powerful cameras.
