Tech News: Did Leica Just Leak Plans for a Medium-Formant Mirrorless Camera?

Could Leica be working on a new medium format mirrorless camera? A recent video from the company suggests the answer is yes, declares DP Review. At the very least it appears the company has been prototyping such a camera. It’s been pointed out by Leica Rumors that a camera mock-up visible in the background of a shot in the video appears to showcase a medium-format camera, a potential hint Leica could be working on some kind of mirrorless successor to the company’s S3 single lens reflex medium format camera, which was released back in 2020.   Read the full Story >>

The Leitz Phographica Auction House is about to celebrate a historic milestone at the upcoming the 20th anniversary auction event with the estimated $3.2 million dollar sale of an extremely rare Leica 0-Series camera (No. 105) originally owned by Oskar Barnack.
